Lauren Wiltshire
Base Founder and Teacher

Lauren is a local practicing artist and school art educator who founded BASE Art Space after feeling uninspired by existing school curricula and recognising the limited availability of art spaces for children. She sought to create an environment where young artists could freely express their imagination and creativity without judgment. As a mother of four, Lauren has always favored creative spaces to work from that offers more than just a desk. Studio97 has been the perfect place to run art classes from as it serves as a gathering point for individuals to collaborate and exchange creative ideas together. Lauren's main goal is to guide children, teens, and adults on an exciting journey to explore the awe inspiring and wonderful world of art.
